This week in writing we have been learning a lot about gender stereotypes. I had learned a lot about it like boys would usually wear blue and girls would usually wear pink. But anyway we also had to make a poster about it which I found very fun.

This week in reading we had to make a bored game about friend ship. I made mine on a google jam bored. There were 20 spaces. There are red ones, and there are blue ones. The red ones you stay there, and the blue ones you either go forward or backwards.

Last week for reading we had a series of options to pick for our create task. I liked a lot of the options but the one I liked the most was the poster. our create task was to show how to have a growth mindset.

Today in Maths Tumu hub had to do Statistical Investigation on everyone's birthday month.
We collected data by having to stand in our teams when they called your month when you were born on out by having a google spreed sheet shared to us with all of the data. Display using more than one variable, interpret information from graphs plan an investigation. _________________________________________________________________________
These are my Graphs
On the 20th of May our hub went to Margaret Mahy and other places in town. We went there to learn about the story of Christchurch. We went to Margaret Mahy, mats (We only found 6/13) & tuna where we got to try and feed them in the Avon River. I was the only person in my group to feed one. We went on the Waka on the Avon river as well, then Victoria Square.
My favourite part of the trip was the Waka because it felt like we were a tribe in the Māori ages. We were shouting HI HA! We also got to sing Māori songs.
Something I learnt was that on the stone floor of Margaret Mahy there was a Māori song. The stone floor also showed a bunch of other designs including a kiwi footprint getting larger and larger. Something else I learned was that 3 of the mats in Christchurch were in Victoria Square
The thing I found the most interesting was everything on Margret Mahy playground told the story of the original two writers. They also tell a story that represents the Māori culture. In the olden days Victoria Square used to be a market.
This trip has helped me with my PBL because I have learned a lot about the Margaret Mahy, town and I learned all of that in a fun way.
